Paycore Drilling, was founded in 2008 as an independent contractor servicing the mineral exploration industry in British Columbia, Western Canada, and across North America.

Today Paycore is a multi-faceted service providing not only Diamond Drilling services to the Mineral Exploration Industry, but a full complement of drilling equipment to service various other industries within Western Canada.

Whether Paycore Drilling is providing Geotechnical Investigation Drilling services using a track mounted drill on your site investigation project in Fort St. John, Environmental Drilling and Sampling for your Oil & Gas Project on the Alaska Highway, or installing Slope Indicators on your Ministry of Transportation Project, Paycore Drilling can handle all of your Geotechnical, Environmental, and Exploration Projects.

Our Specialized equipment is designed from years of experience and trial and error. Our Heli-Portable Fly Drills can get you core samples from the most remote mountain tops. Whether it be on a jagged point in the Kootenay’s or a vast plateau in the Yukon. Our custom built, Skid mounted deep hole core drills can provide year round drilling to 1600 meters depth. These drills have proven themselves from Princeton, in Southern B.C. through the central Caribou near 100 Mile house and Quesnel to the Toodogone North Of Mackenzie. If your project requires low impact, remote access, and deep hole performance then look no further than our track mounted diamond and multi-purpose drills. These drills can be flown into your site with a helicopter as light as an A-Star. Once onsite these drills can be moved under their own power without the assitance of the helicopter, reducing your project cost and increasing drilling production. If you have a Uranium project in Saskatchewan, a Copper project near Dease Lake, a Drill Program in the Golden Triangle, near Stewart , B.C. or a Gold Property in Ontario, Paycore will complete your project on-time and on budget.

Contaminated site investigation in Prince George? Geotechnical testing for a new building in Kitimat? Sub-Surface Investigation for a HD Pipeline Bore in Chetwynd? Monitor Well installation for Transportation project in Tumbler Ridge? These are just a handful of the types of projects Paycore encounters everyday.

What about your access? Soft ground? Saturated soils? Heavy Traffic? Maybe one of our track mounted drills is what your project needs. No road? We can fix that. A skid mounted drill with a Dozer to build your trail will get you there. Too far to build a trail? A helicopter will open up parts of the world you never thought possible to drill.

Health & Safety

Paycore Drilling is committed to a comprehensive safety management system that protects our personnel, our contractors, our visitors and our property. The system is also intended to protect the environment, others property and the general public from incidents. Paycore has in place policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with government legislation including the Highway Traffic Act and industry recommended practices.

Paycore is a proud member of ISNetworld. ISN provides an online contractor management database, ISNetworld, which is designed to meet internal and governmental record keeping and compliance requirements. ISN collects health and safety, procurement, quality and regulatory information. ISN’s subject matter experts review and verify this information to assess the accuracy, relevance and timeliness of the data. Connecting Hiring Clients with safe, reliable and sustainable contractors and suppliers around the globe allows these organizations to use ISN as an integral part of their management systems.

Paycore Drilling holds and maintains an Enform Certificate of Recognition or C.O.R. The COR process requires employers to develop and implement a health and safety program that meets provincial standards. This process results in improved worker safety, reduced costs due to lost productivity, replacement worker training, property damage and incident investigation as well as reducing legal risk exposure.

Safety is our number one concern and we are dedicated to providing a safe work environment for our employees and our clients. Through employee training, safety inspections, and proper PPE we make every effort to promote safety.

At Paycore we believe the proper attitude is the key to a safe work environment. By starting with a safe attitude at a management level we can re-enforce that all the way down to day-to-day operations.

Paycore works hard to prevent incidents whether in the field, on the road, or at the office.

Services

Drilling

Paycore Drilling offers a full range of drilling services to the Exploration, Oil & Gas, and Construction industries. We offer a range of adaptable drilling equipment for everything from remote access sites to civil and transportation projects near major routes.

A typical geo-technical project for us can involve a track mounted or heli-portable drill, using solid stem or hollow stem auger. Diamond Core Drilling is the preferred method when drilling takes us into rock. SPT split spoon samples, shelby tubes, vane sheer, and packer testing are all part of a normal day for us whether it be in Kamloops, B.C. or Dawson City, Yukon. Once the borehole and required testing is complete, we often install Monitor Wells, Slope Indicators (S.I’s), and piezometers in the borehole. Pipeline Projects and Bridge design investigations are just a couple of the many projects we find ourselves on.

Exploration projects often take us all over Canada from Eastern Quebec to the Golden Triangle (North of Stewart, B.C.) They often run for long duration’s and can range from grass roots exploration site in the Abitibi of Quebec to an Operating Mine in B.C.’s interior. NQ and HQ wireline core barrels to more specialized items such as HQ3 split tube and PQ core barrels are commonly used whether it be with skid drill North of Whitehorse, Yukon or a Heli-portable track drill North of Smithers, B.C. near Hwy 37.

Drilling for Environmental soil sampling involves careful handling of cuttings and sample material. Our crews have experience with the delicate nature of this work. A Phase II environmental assessment can often involve drilling. These projects have taken our Pioneer Drills from Blue River, B.C. through to Kamloops, B.C. and all the way out to Hope, B.C., as well as all the way north to the Peace Country, and up the Alaska Highway on limited access sites. Our Larger Multi-Purpose track drills often travel through Prince George, B.C. and North to Fort St. John or West to Smithers.

In addition to our drilling services, we also offer construction support, earth moving, Hydro-Vac, and water management (including de-watering) services.

Whether you have a small program with basic requirements or a large program with in depth logistics we can provide basic services or complete turn-key programs.

Our Crews

All our crews are highly experienced and are selected to provide the best possible outcome for the customer. Our drillers have at least 10 years experience and most have 15 to 20 years experience. Our drillers assistants are also an important part of the operation and are carefully selected.

Employees are regularly trained in their duties and industry best practices.

Drilling

We supply hydraulic drills mounted in skid shacks that can be moved typically by a Dozer or Skidder. These drills provide a cost effective solution for drilling where there is road access. The rigs are easily towed onto pads and once on the pad can be setup and ready to drill literally within minutes. The drill shacks are all weather and work well all year round in all kinds of conditions.

Road & Pad Construction

For skid drilling programs we have the experience to build roads and pads into remote locations. We use our know how along with good equipment and experienced operators meet these needs.

Site Rehabilitation

After a drill program is completed there is often a requirement to rehabilitate drill pads, roads and any other site disturbances to their natural state. We can offer this service in addition to our many other services.
