Discovery II heli-portable track drill

These unique drills can be flown into a site, much the same way a conventional heli-portable drill is flown. Once onsite and assembled, the drill can be driven onsite without the assistance of a helicopter. This drill offers the best of both worlds, being able to access sites that would be typically limited to heli-portable drilling, but with the efficiency of a track drill. Very little pad prep is required, and the drill moves are not limited by weather conditions that can limit an aircraft.

Ease of use and quick, simple tear-down and setup make this drill an incredibly safe and efficient remote-access diamond drill.

Multi-purpose means this unit can take on your environmental project using solid stem auger up to 12 inches. If your geotechnical project needs accurate sampling and testing in challenging ground conditions, hollow stem auger will get you through your unstable formations. Diamond coring NQ to PQ will safely and efficiently get you the rock core you need, up to 1280 m (NQ).
